On May 23, 2006, at the Committee of Education of the City Administration of Vladivostok there was held a ceremony of rewarding schoolchildren who had passed the courses of distance learning in the framework of Junior Achievement program . A series of distance learning courses, being a pilot project, is realized throughout Russia. The schoolchildren from Primorsky Krai turned out to be the most active in exploring the new program. They were proposed to chose one of the following courses:
- Personal Finance Management
- Passport to the World (Business & Tourism)
The majority of students chose the course "Personal Finance Management" , however there were those who decided to on their own explore tourism project activity in the framework of the course "Passport to the World" .
The teachers could also take the JA on-line courses.
