Higher School of Economics 

Higher School of Economics was established in 1992 by the Russian Government with general purpose to assist economic reforms in Russia by training professionals in modern economics and other “actual” social sciences, as well as by means of academic research, consultancy and policy advice in these fields. In 1995, HSE has been granted the university status. Today HSE is the biggest and most influential among all new educational establishments in Russia. HSE is an autonomous university, which is at the same time training, retraining, scientific research center of the Ministry of Economy of the Russian Federation.

The School's education principles

	Intensive training in economics is a major component of Business, Law and Sociological education. This provides “common language” to all social and economic students in HSE.
	Level of education meets international standards including additional courses reflecting Russian specifics.
	Specialised math and computer training.
	Intensive language training in English, French and German; many courses in English, some in French. Extensive pre-university training and selection among high school students in different regions of Russia.

Access Courses for entering HSE in Vladivostok

Far East State of Economic Education conducts access courses for entering State University – High School of Economics at FESU. The course duration is 1-2 years, for pupils on their 11^th and 10^th year respectively. 

After finishing the courses the pupils take entering examinations to SU-HSE’s special entrance examination field board in Vladivostok (mathematics, economics, English, essay).
