Our achievements
Far
East Center of Economic Education was founded in November 1999 with the support
from Department of Professional Education, Science, Information, Public
Relations and Department of Education of Primorsky region administration and
Primorsky Regional Foundation for Small Business Support.
Our
mission
The
goal of FECEE is to comprehensively comply with the citizens’ educational
needs in acquiring knowledge in economics and non-stop raising the level of
their skills in various programs of supplementary education, which are necessary
for adaptation to the modern economic situation. Center’s goals also include
businessmen training through “Business Activities” course, training of
mid-level managers and market analysts for city’s and region’s Labor
Registry Offices, and training of middle school teachers of economics.

Our
achievements
| 1995
– first competition in economics for the school pupils
|
| 1995
– pupils from Primorsky region take part in All-Russian “MEM
Cup” forum in Moscow.

| 1997
– first “Children and Business” economics study camp
|
| 1999
– Primorsky regional competitions in “Delta” computer game
(operational management of an enterprise in market economy conditions). The
winners (pupils from Nakhodka’s school #21) take part in All-Russian
competitions in “Delta” in Irkutsk.

| 1999
- Primorsky regional “Rules of Life” composition contest, in
which pupils from 12 to 17 years old take part. The winners’ compositions
are sent to Moscow to take part in All-Russian contest.

– Primorsky Regional Center “Junior Achievements” reorganized into Far
East Center of Economic Education
|
| 2000
– GLOBE program (the basics of international business) is carried out at
VSUES. The students make a joint stock company with the partners of the same
age from USA (Ohio and Florida)
|
| 2000
– “Istok” gymnasia (Dalnegorsk) joins the GLOBE program. Joint stock
school company with Canadian school pupils is created.
