October 28-29, 2006, FECEE conducted a methodological seminar on a Junior Achievement computer educational program MESE - Management and Economics Simulation - for Information Science teachers from schools and secondary institutions of professional training of Vladivostok and Nakhodka. More

October 25, 2006, at Khabarovsk State Academy of Economics and Law (FECEE's partner on the Project "Cooperation in the development of small and medium business in Khabarovsk" funded by FRAEC on USAID means of technical support in 2005-2006) there was held a videoconference session for Russian and American students. More

September 13, 2006, there was held the VI International Festival "U.S.-RFE Partnership Activity" in Vladivostok". Far Eastern Center of Economic Education took part in the Festival as well as other participants of the Round 5 of the Program. The Festival itself is an exhibition of achievements of the international partnerships where one can learn a lot of new facts about Russian-American and Russian-Russian partnership projects funded in the framework of the program "U.S.-RFE Partnership Activity" in the fields of effective municipal management and solving of social-economic problems in strategic cities. July 6-7, 2006, there was held the III International Expert Forum on Strategies of Regional Development. Russian Far East – 2015: view from the center and regions. FECEE took part in the Forum with a stand report “Youth entrepreneurship as a potential for strategic development of small entrepreneurship in the Russian Far East”. At the stand there were also presented diagrams of the level of youth entrepreneurship development in different regions of Russia (European part of Russia, Siberia, Far East). More

May 2006, at the School of Gifted Children (VSUES), under guidance of Natalia Buchneva, there was realized a JA program Student Company. More

May 23, 2006, at the Committee of Education of the City Administration of Vladivostok there was held a ceremony of rewarding schoolchildren who had passed the courses of distance learning in the framework of Junior Achievement program . A series of distance learning courses, being a pilot project, is realized throughout Russia. The schoolchildren from Primorsky Krai turned out to be the most active in exploring the new program. More

April 24-26, 2006, at Khabarovsk State Academy of Economics and Law there was held a seminar training Strategic Planning conducted by FECEE and Khabarovsk State Academy of Economics and Law in the framework of the Project Cooperation in the development of small and medium-size business in Khabarovsk. On April 27, 2006 at Khabarovsk State Academy of Economics and Law there was held a presentation of business plans developed by the students participating in the Project. More

March 23, 2006, there was held the City Competition on MESE in the framework of Junior Achievement program. The competition was organized and conducted by the Vladivostok Committee of Education, Junior Achievement Primorsky Regional Center, Far Eastern Center for Economic Education and school 22 of Vladivostok. More

February 21, 2006 - A unique opportunity for students to connect with the business community in Khabarovsk was arranged by partners on the project “Cooperation in the Development of Medium and Small Business in Khabarovsk”. On the final day of a 4-day training seminar “The Basics of Managing a Business in a Market Economy”, students from 5 universities in Khabarovsk practiced their business skills and interacted with business leaders from the city. Early September - Far Eastern Center for Economic Education received an approval for its grant proposal submitted to FRAEC. The aim of the project called Cooperation in the Development of Small and Medium Business in Khabarovsk is to transfer the best experience in social and economic municipal management in the Russian Far East The project is funded by USAID means of technical assistance and is administered by FRAEC (Foundation for Russian-American Economic Cooperation). Our achievements on the project Cooperation in the Development of Small and Medium Business in Primorsky Krai

May 24, 2005 - there was realized the second stage of the project Contributing to employment of economics major students who specialize in banking - competition between bank specialists and economics major students on computer stimulating game Banks in Action by Junior Achievement program. The participants of the competition were 9 bank specialists from Far Eastern Bank, Bank Primorye, Alfa Bank, Vneshtorgbank branch, and 12 students from the Institute of Business and Management, FENU, and International Institute of Banking, Finance and Credit of the Pacific State University of Economics. Realization of this project is one of actions of the program "Education and Internet Access" that is administered by Project Harmony Inc. More Pictures

December 15, 2004 - the international business educational program Junior Achievement celebrated its 10 th anniversary in Primorsky Krai. Teachers and university professors, school and university students from Vladivostok, Nakhodka and Artyom who came to congratulate JA center's staff talked about the opportunities that JA programs can give to everyone. May 26-30, 2004 - Far Eastern Center for Economic Education in cooperation with the Regional Department of Education and Science conducted an educational seminar-training on JA Company Program (School Company) for 20 educators from children's homes, this seminar being funded by the charitable Children's Hope Foundation (Tomsk). March 19, 2004 - Raymond Liumann, deputy director of the USAID Department of Economic Development, and Shevchenko Julia, project manager of the USAID Department of Economic Development, accompanied by Irina Isaeva, USAID representative in the Russian Far East, and Natalia Vitkovskaya, director of Junior Achievement Primorsky Regional Center, met with the students of the 6 th grade, school 57, who study Junior Achievement programs in the framework of their curriculum. The team of school ¹ 21 from the town of Nakhodka (Tolstikov Fedor and Kurbola Dmitry) won the third place in the final of Network contest "MESE Cup-2001". Congratulations!

May 18-31, 2001 – winners of computer game “Delta” All-Russian competition – team from the Far Eastern State University (Vladivostok) rewarded by a trip to Germany.

May 17-21, 2001 – international conference of NCEE “Economics International” in Dubrovnik, Croatia.

May 14-17, 2001 – meeting of directors of Regional Junior Achievement Centers in Moscow.

April 26-30, 2001 – “Applied Economics” and “Elementary school program” seminar on Junior Achievement programs for teachers of the town of Arsenev with financial support from the Arsenev town administration. 

April 2001 - Network contest in “Delta” management computer game among Vladivostok University students with financial support from the regional administration. 

April 17-19, 2001 – the winner of regional competition – team from school ¹3 (town of Artem) participate in  “MESE Cup” All-Russian competition.

April 12-19, 2001 – “Economics Basics” seminar on NCEE programs for teachers of economics from schools, colleges and Universities of Primorsky region.

March 25, 2001 – “MESE Cup – 2001” regional competition by Junior Achievement program in Vladivostok.

February 25-28, 2001 – the 5th regional school companies Fair was provided by Administration of Primorsky Krai and Far East Center of Economic Education.
