Heinz Nixdorf and his fund

Heinz Nixdorf is attributed to the number of the most progressive German businessmen who achieved considerable success. Heinz Nixdorf activity started with founding a small workshop where one employee operated. In 1986, the year of his death, Nixdorf AG had more than 23000 employees, working in many countries of the world.

The secret of his success is explained by a simple and precisely formulated aim: be better than competitors in everything, to perfect their production sparing no efforts, doing their best and using variety of ideas.

Heinz Nixdorf invested the property of the joint-stock company Nixdorf AG founded by him into Heinz Nixdorf Fund. He charged this Fund to acquaint young people with the principles of his success.

Heinz Nixdorf Fund in Russia

The aim of Heinz Nixdorf Fund Program is to help young Russian specialists in the field of economy, to advance their own initiative and to promote their professional qualification. The program is directed to young people and teachers as well as other persons working with young people in Russia.

To achieve these set aims the Fund concentrates its activity in the following directions first of all:

	Development and spreading economic courseware
	Preparing in the field of communication technologies to be applied to economy
	Training specialists of various types in the field of economy and administering

To realize the set problems the following implements are used:

	Devising computer teaching systems, giving them to employers and teaching to work with them.
	Holding contests in Russia to spread instruction systems
	Training specialists of various types to work on computer.
	Seminars for schoolchildren, students and practical workers.
	Holding summer schools to extend knowledge in the field of economy (for example, with the help of case studies methods).
	Arranging brief group trips to Germany (foe contest winners).
	Obtaining Second Hand computers in Germany for free handing them over to Russia.

Fund Programs in Primorsky Region

1999 - FECEE became a region center of Heinz Nixdorf Fund and got Pentium computer and orgtechnique.

1999 - seminar on Delta business game in which economics teachers from towns of Vladivostok, Nakhodka, Arsenev, Artem, Dalnegorsk and settlements of Novo-Sisoevka, Kirovsky and Serzhantovo took part. The seminar was conducted by the teacher of Belorussian State University (the city of Minsk) Elena Alexandrovna Krishtopovich.

1999 - regional competitions on "Nixdorf-Industry" (Delta) computer business game. 36 teams (students and schoolchildren from various towns and regions of Primorsky Krai) took part in the competition. Competition winners - schoolchildren from Nakhodka took part in the All-Russian competition in the city of Irkutsk and took the 4th place.

2000 - instruction-methodic seminar on using business game "Delta" in instruction process in the fields of economics ("Management", "Economics", "Commerce", "Information systems in economics", "Economics and management" etc.) and information technologies. The seminar was conducted by the candidate of economic sciences, principal lecturer of the "State Management' department of Irkuysk State Economic Academy Mrs. Dorohova Marina Nikolaevna.

2000 - two students from Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service and Far East State Technical University took part in an economic camp for students in the town of Tula.

2000 - regional competitions on business game "Delta" among schoolchildren and students. Winners - the students from the Management and business Institute of FESU took part in All-Russian competition in the town of Irkutsk and took the 1st place. Winners of All-Russian competition are awarded with the trip to Germany in May 2001.
